I bought my first Carll Cneut book twenty years ago, so when I found out that Book Island was selling giclées of his artwork I was really excited. I saw the original “Red birds” on an exhibition a few years ago and this reproduction captures the wonderful texture and the rich colours of the original painting. It’s a really beautiful print.
The print came carefully wrapped in tissue paper and packed in a sturdy tube. The people from Book Island also sent me some frame suggestions that were quite helpful.
