David Colmer

David Colmer is an Australian writer, translator and editor who lives in Amsterdam and has won several major prizes for his translation work.

Besides children’s books, he also translates poetry and novels for adults. His translations for children include several books by Annie M.G. Schmidt, the ‘queen of twentieth-century Dutch children’s literature’.
